Sales Professional Certification evaluates retail jewelry store employees according to nationally recognized standards. When certified, you have identifiable status that clearly reflects and demonstrates your integrity, ethics and dedication to the jewelry profession.

Certification Reflects Your Experience
You may go directly to the level that best represents your current level of skill and ability.

  • JA Certified Sales Professional (CSP)
    This level reflects skills and knowledge generally expected of trained entry-level jewelry sales personnel with about one year’s experience.
  • JA Certified Senior Sales Professional (CSSP)
    This level reflects moderate to advanced sales skills and knowledge and includes some areas not tested at the first level.

Simple Certification Process, Customized to Your Schedule
When you enroll in the program, you simply have to take and pass a written test. The questions cover facts, processes, procedures, terms and concepts that sales professionals encounter in their every day work.

  • Take the exam at a location of your choosing, by using a proctor.

WHO QUALIFIES FOR CERTIFICATION?

To qualify for JA Sales Professional Certification, you must have worked for at least one year as a sales professional in a retail jewelry store.
